2008 Sun Fun Summer Concert Series

This concert series will be held at the Valor Memorial Garden at the brand new Market Commons. These concerts feature a diverse collection of musicians from every background. The finale is on Saturday, August 30th and is being called a "Beach, Boogie & BBQ Festival"

The Gentlemen's Golf Tournament

8/4/08 - 9/13/08

The Gentleman’s Tournament, held by the brothers of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, will take place September 13, on the Quail Creek Golf Course. The tournament will act as philanthropy for the Children’s Miracle Network and a fundraiser for the South Carolina Alpha Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon.

W.A.R.M. art exhibit at The Loft

The Loft at the Howard Gallery and The Howard Gallery’s opening reception for “Reigning Cats and Dogs and Creatures of All Kinds” will assist WARM (The Waccamaw Animal Rescue Mission), an area non-profit organization that is a no-kill refuge for all kinds of animals.. At this reception on Saturday, August 9th from 10 until 4, a percentage of sales will be donated to WARM. You are invited to come meet the artists and see select animals for adoption from WARM.
