ELIGIBILITY
All spring season high school golf teams. A team must consist of at least four players to compete. Eligibility concerns? Please contact your state high school association.

FORMAT & STRUCTURE
The tournament will be conducted as a 54-hole team stroke play championship. Teams will consist of five (5) players, using the low four (4) scores to determine the team total. The Round one qualifier will flight teams into groups of 15-18 teams, using a differential equation that allows the entire field to be ranked against one another, regardless of their qualifying course. They will then compete for awards within their flight using their total 36-hole gross team score during rounds two and three.

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE TEAM ENTRY FEE?
Team entry fee allows for up to five (5) players and two (2) coaches and includes three (3) tournament greens fees for each player, one meal per day for both players and coaches, cart access each day for coaches, range access, team gift bag and prizes.

COACHES TOURNAMENT
A blind draw, best ball coach’s tournament is available for coaches and their assistants on Thursday & Friday of the event. There is an entry fee for each coach.

SQUAD SIZE
A team must have at least four (4) participants to compete and no more than five (5). Once all starting five (5) players begin tournament play, no substitutions will be allowed.

AWARDS
The top three (3) teams and top ten (10) individuals in each flight will be awarded. In addition, the following overall championship awards will be given:
  • Most Outstanding Player
  • All Tournament Team
  • Most Valuable #5 Player
  • All Freshman Team.

SCORING
Daily scores will be available each evening at palmettogolfchampionship.com. In addition, final results will be posted at juniorgolfscoreboard.com.

Baylor comes to the Fall Palmetto High School Golf Championship to test itself against competition from across the county and enjoy a team trip. The annual addition to the school trophy case is certainly a nice bonus.

Mountain Ridge Leads Boys Palmetto

Mountain Ridge High School missed the flight it hoped to take and a night’s sleep en route to the fourth annual Fall Palmetto High School Golf Championship. But the Glendale, Ariz., team didn’t miss many shots on the course.
